My apologies to everyone here.
I think this was probably an opinion that I should have kept to myself.
The point I had been hoping to make was that anything can be overdone.
I see a lot of amazing work from the knife makers here.
Sometimes I will see a knife where I think "if they had only left out the **** the knife would look amazing."
But on the other side of the coin there will be a lot of people who will like a feature that I didn't like.
I like the unusual and even the outright strange as long as it shows good workmanship.
Once again, I had meant my opinions only to be food for thought. Nothing more.
I am sorry if I have offended anyone. That was never my intention.
I think it best to close this thread and let it fade away into internet oblivion.
