One pair of Royd Envoy Bookshelf Speakers. These are rare to find on the used market and very rare in the USA.
These are in excellent condition save for a couple light blemishes on the bottoms as expected for speakers this age, featuring one 5" woofer specially treated by the late designer Joe Akroyd, along with a 3/4" inch tweeter. All drivers are original, fully functional and sonically excellent. This is for one pair of speakers. Many consider these the bookshelf equivalent of their famed Minstrel floor standing speakers, with the same driver complement and side port.
This is a two way, side ported design, best when set close to a front wall. Amazing detail and coherence, these speakers offer a lively and balanced presentation in most listening rooms save for very large ones.
