I'm really liking this thread, who doesn't love rare Busses?
bsides him, a few Busse knives do come to mind. His VERY few Bird & Trout knives, especially Hammy's. Or, his "flint knapped" steel knives. Or one of his Defiance Hill(?) knives might qualify. Sorry, the pix are out there on this forum, but I don't have them on hand to post.
The Defiance Hill is Sweet. Would do terrible things to get my paws on that.

Every time I think of Defiance Ohio though I think of whipping on then in football though![]()
Any 1 of 1, 1 of 3, or 1 of 5 is going to be rare simply based on low numbers. A better question is which regular productions are rare. I think anything pre 2002 or so would fall into that category with some being rarer than others simply based on how popular they are. There are a lot of regular production knives that are extremely popular that people are holding on to and you rarely ever see come up for sale.
