I agree no choil but take the RC-3 and thin the blade out like the Benchmade
190 drop point hunter like this one I modified.this was my primary carry till the RAT 3 then the
RC-4.great knife I wish Benchmade would make these like this.

How about this one? 3 3/4" blade, no choil. Handle is the same diameter as the TAK. You guys are reading my mind.

I like the choil as it allows me to choke up on the blade when gutting/skinning the smaller creatures. The choil allows me to run my index finger almost all the way out the spine of the blade on the RC-3.

Well I do have my RC4, RC6 coming, Rat 3, Old TAK. I'm framiliar. This was just a pretty close fit to what Bear was describing. That is why I put it up. No question RC's are great knives. Variety is the spice of life you know. This one is O-1 1/8" stock. Pretty close to what is being described. Ya, It's one of my fatties that I made.
