RAT Cutlery can use your help - IMPORTANT

Was going through my hard files today and hit the jackpot on some things I had forgotten about:

1) Found original receipts and transactions letters dated between Mike Fuller, Jay Harnish and myself on the Laser Strike project. Including all the 3.5 floppy diskettes with original drawings.

2) Found original dated TAK 1 drawings that pre-dates contract with Ontario.

3) Found drawings I had forgotten about on the Model 1 folder that Blade-Tech built for us. These also pre-date the Ontario contract and are signed off on by Vince Ford. I had forgotten that Blade-Tech actually built this folder before we went to Ontario and went overseas.

4) Found communication on a Blade-Tech liner we designed that will prove to be VERY interesting.

5) Found the original hand-drawn RTAK drawings that Livesay built them from.

With the stuff you guys have found and the TK articles, there is no doubt on who, what, when, and where about the ownership of the property.

Cool, I went through all my back issues of ASG late last night, and found 2 more articles written by you, that I will send along with the others.

Should go out in the morning mail, I will let you know for sure afterwards!

greens, can you give me an issue date on that TK magazine with the Greco RAT in it? It will save me a lot of time going through all my old issues and requesting extra copies.

Thanks,

Jeff

Cool, with the story/press lag time that can and will be proven and my receipts of payment to Greco for the knives, this is a slam dunk on using the RAT name on a knife pre-Ontario.

Much thanks!

Jeff

No problemo. I'm not sure if you'll be able to find that back issue of TK so I'll forward the article to you via reg mail.

Ran across this today. September 2001 cover of Tactical Knives. Our Laser Strike knife...logo and all.

I gotta say its pretty low of Ontario to try and trademark someone else's acronym and logo.

This particular thread seems to have caught the attention of several attorneys, because I've received 4 different emails from 4 different attorneys this weekend. I guess the reason for this surge is this thread proves two things: 1) what Ontario is doing and 2) the undeniable proof we have that what they're doing is wrong. Maybe some folks didn't believe us initially when we said Ontario was trying to steal our property. If you think there are folks pissed off publicly on the other thread that's about 10 pages long, then you should see some of the emails I'm getting over this thread.

This weekend has allowed us time to get our thoughts and evidence together, and a lot of things have been initiated over the last two days and more coming this week. So, settle in because this thing will probably take a lot of twists and turns and have a few surprises before it's over with.

Dug up the first RTAK ever made:

Here's something I dug up that pre-dates Ontario and proves the name RAT has been used in legal commerce with Randall's Adventure & Training. This is just one page and I blacked out some confidential info.

I don't see how any court could ever rule that we didn't own the RAT name, RTAK name, designs, etc. long before we met Ontario Knife Co. I've got even more documentation, testimony, tape recordings, etc. but I'm saving that for down the road.

Dang ,it is hard to argue over all the Evidence being collected and the folks willing to help gather for you,Jeff Please anything I mail to support you do not refund postage....I do it as to help a friend and do not need reimbursement. Thanks Tony

Thanks Tony. This whole ordeal is expanding into areas we had forgotten about. We're getting phone calls and emails from folks that we would never have guessed even knew who we were. Like I said, this whole thing is taking some turns that will probably have some surprises in it.

any documentation from pre-Ontario like passports, jungle training paperwork, anything bearing RAT on it before Ontaarion is great evidence for you...but I am sure your team know that...anything copy righted in the third world adventure book? was it before the Ontario ,I have it but I did not look at the copyright date...? so much info out there about RAT....a blind man could see

How did Ontarios people not know that you would have all this evidence against them do they not read the knife mags and other publications that these knives have been in. Oh well Ontario got stupid and stupid is about to hurt big time in this case.

BTW: I'm almost sure the sheath was made by John Greco's ex-wife Sherry (I think that's her name) and her company name was Green River Sheaths if I'm not mistaken. I still have invoices on this one in old tax files.

Ontario is trying to make an end run past Jeff and Mike, and then when they got caught, they are trying to follow up with legal intimidation. Lame. It's called attempted theft of someone else's property.

It's over before it started. RAT has overwhelming evidence of prior use. Ontario did not think this through or do their due diligence. They had no idea of this overwhelming evidence in RAT's favor, and it will all be dismissed before it gets to any trial. Plus, Ontario never gambled on the consumer reaction!

RAT will win. They already have won. Ontario has wasted time and money.
