RAT Cutlery can use your help - IMPORTANT

This was posted by one of the guys here a few months ago:

Yes, that was before I'd mastered the art of thumbnails. Sorry for the enormous pics. :D

This kills me, because up until about a year ago I still had that magazine where I learned about the Greco-Rat, although it seems plenty of evidence has been gathered regardless. Best of luck in your struggles!

...And no, all you private-messagers out there, I'm NOT selling the Greco-RAT! Once I'm dead and buried, if you feel like digging, you can have it then I suppose. ;)

Jackpot Number 2 was hit today. I've been pouring through all my old tax and sales records to send to the IP attorney and I found the original receipts where we purchased the Greco RAT knives and then...check this out....numerous PayPal receipts where buyers purchased them, Laser Strikes and RTAKs. All of this is under the RAT name and ALL of it pre-dates the Ontario contract by a good margin.

You know Jeff, there is one interesting lesson that is coming out of this whole ordeal: running your business LEGIT has its definite advantages. If you hadn't kept all that info, and filed your taxes as you are SUPPOSED to, you wouldn't have all that info.

Nice job,

Brett

One thing I have always been a stickler about is making sure taxes are filed properly, all sales are reported, etc. The reason I found this info was because I had printed out all the individual paypal transactions that had been made and turned them into our accountant, so it was merely a deal of me looking back through the 2000 and 2001 tax files I had stored away. This list of evidence keeps growing. Hell, it 's gonna cost a fortune to get it all copied so everyone gets their copies.

Dang, running an honest business is going to pay off in the long run for you bro and the Lawyer can see it as well as a Judge !

Jeff
Have not talked to ya in a while and I won't bother you now.
But,I'm still around so CALL me If there is a any chance that I may be able to help ya'll.
Hang in there Brother
Fred Tanner

Thanks greens,

Exactly what we were looking for. Last Confederate sent me another PM and said he found another article that I had forgotten about that which will be a huge help as well.

BTW: Everyone has been asking me who the parent company of Ontario Knife Co. is so here's a link: http://www.servotronics.com/code-of-ethics.htm

This still has me choking:
# promote honest and ethical conduct, including the ethical handling of actual or apparent conflicts of interest between personal and professional relationships;

Obviously the web designer spoke with them over conference and never met them face to face, or so it appears.

Fred, been a while amigo. How are you and the family doing? You going to Terrill's in April? I'm thinking about going now that we have attorneys taking care of the rest of this mess. Might try to get some blade up there for yall to use.

Jeff
It's all good here.Yep,I'll be at Terrill's shindig and you orta be there for a day or two!...........and somewhere in the middle of all that,we are moving to Northeast Tennessee.
Fred

Did you catch the disclaimer to their CODE OF ETHICS AND BUSINESS CONDUCT
It is understood that some transactions which may be actual or apparent conflicts of interest may be necessary or advantageous to the Company. Those transactions will not be considered a violation of this Code if approved by the Board of Directors.

Thought I would post up the first page of the February 2000 ASG article on the RTAK. Note the date at the bottom of the page. Also have an article that was sent by one of you on the Laser Strike in the October 2000 ASG. Not the TOPS version but the prototype that we had before we went into business with TOPS on it. Cool.

that is the reason I try to explain to my wife why I must keep all those ASG mags....Someone may need the info one day... she just laughed and walked away !

and if there was ever any doubt where the Laser Strike idea came from, here's a page from October 2000. This even pre-dates TOPS.

Dang ,I remember that article ..Thanks for the refresher ..... o-man to much over whelming info in your favor...

Jeff,

One of the positives in all this is a chance for me to relive and re-witness my friends' success and the journey you've taken to get there. It's really interesting history.

Kudos to you and Mike. And congrats plus a big thank you for your enormously fantastic and common-sense solutions to a myriad of tactical and survival issues.

Brian, this whole ordeal is bringing back a lot of memories, amigo

Cool Jeff. I hope they are the good ones!

Just saw you might make it PWYP. Marty Simon is doing a 3-day course, with Ethan Becker as guest instructor, just prior. I may make it down myself, so hope to see you there!
