If this doesn't make you want an Izula, I don't know what will.

Bienvenu on this forum ;)

Nice set up

Does anyone have the RAT leather sheath for the RC-3? If so, how do you like it? Pros/Cons VS. the standard sheath?

is that a Duluth Pack haversack?
if not, where did you get it?
also - what's your opinion - I keep looking at those thinking they're a good size, setup, etc... but the price makes me pause.

also - while the filson hats are good, I suspect building your fire in one might mess with it's water repellence, and might void the warranty. :D

Actually, it is the Large Field Satchel from Frost River. I scored it for $20 or so on Ebay and really like it. It is perfect for it's a walk in the woods. I'll get pics of what I had in it yesterday for a better idea of what it's capable of.

My wife picked up the Filson hat for me for Christmas and it has to be my favorite piece of gear. I think it will stand up to the test of time and it doubles as a nice gathering pouch.

I have the same hat and love it. It's gotten a lot of use with all the snow we've been having.

Welcome French Butcher. I have an RC-4 coming and hope to get the Izula soon.

I'm digging the duel HEST's mistwalker. Its like having a beer in each hand. Nothing ever seemed more right.
