Rat ESEE Lite Machete Pics

They are generally classified by the length of the blade. I'm sure this one is as well.

New guy here but just recently aquired my first and second RAT knives, a RC3 and a RC4. I use a machete on a daily basis as a Land Surveyor and I believe I may just have to try one out, it's a beauty for sure. :thumbup:

I just hope there won't be any issues shipping one of these to Canada, or anywhere else overseas from the CONUS for that matter. I just bought a house so I'll be needing a good machete for yard work, etc come springtime.

I have a strong feeling that the ESEE Lite is going to supplant the RC-6 as my favorite RAT. :)

definitely looks like handy machete. What is the thickness of the spine? I like machetes a bit thicker, so they don't feel "flapy" when swung.

I have one right now at 2.75 MM which seems about right, but I could see one a bit thicker and be happy.

Looks like this one already has a convex edge.

Any idea when these will actually be available for purchase? I'm really looking forward to picking up one of these and the Izula scales...and my birthday is coming up :D

++++1

I got frustrated looking for a machete a while back (all the ones I saw were too cheap in construction to bother), but I believe I have finally found one that interests me.
