RAT Pack Kit

While I don't have one, my observation is that it's a well thought out addition to anyone's gear. The bag itself is set up nicely with pockets and pouches so when you open it not everything comes spilling out.

If you're in the market for a RC5 or 6 I would say it would DEFINATELY be worth it to get the Kit.

The pack is nice. I've got mine setup as a grab and go for the woods. Saw, fire kit, lotsof good stuff.

I love mine ......

Contents have evolved since then but awesome design....

I will be picking one up likely this year, if all goes according to plan. From what I have seen, they are an excellent piece of equipment.

I was lucky enough to win one in the shelter building contest. I got the RC-6 and the khaki kit. It's a very nice piece of kit and it will hold a lot of gear. You could build a nice little survival kit by adding a few extras. All the stuff included is a great deal. I wanted a standard sheath also in case I just wanted to carry the knife some time, so I got one from Shotgunner11. Could also get a factory RAT sheath if you wanted.

Also check out my thread on mod for the included sharpener.

ordered one yesterday
really looking forward to getting my grubby paws on that puppy
been wanting a esee6 and its seems a killer deal for all you get

I think something that would be a great addition to these would be a long narrow kydex "wallet" to hold a couple of speedhooks.

OOH just thought of something... which logo will grace the front of the ESEE Pack Kit?
I think any will look really cool, just curious.

i got one... then built a differnt kit... i guess it wasnt what i was looking for. its built like a tank for sure. and if its what your looking for its great, it is a good out door orgonizer...

IMO I would not put the RP on the Jumbo.... now the other max products have ample room to use the molle straps but to me the jumbo does not for the rat pouch,I use the molle loops on the jumbo for the RC6 or RC4 molle backing anything larger than that and it could have the strap hurting your neck

anyone attached it to their jumbo?
pix if you have?

I would think the RAT Pack would be cumbersome on a Fatboy or Jumbo.

IIRC, the intent of the RAT Pack kit was that it was to be used as the whole kit, ehwn you'd be carrying less than you'd need a Fatboy or Jumbo for. Say, have the RAT Pack kit on one hip and a water bottle/canteen on the other.
