rat pack?

I think it's people who aren't pack members yet that think it's more than it really is.

It's what, quadrupled in size in less than a year? Probably largely in part due to the word getting around about contests. We sure don't have 700 contributors in discussions in here.

No. It's me. ;) lol

welcome to the esee forum - owning RAT/ESEE cutlery is not a requirement, having a mindset wanting to learn and share experiences isn't either, but it helps.
the post count thing is just a way to get people to start participating in the hopes they'll continue.
you didn't sound arrogant, no one's making fun of you (yet - we generally wait until we get to know you better), and anything you want to toss in the mix will be welcome, so long as you're not gratuitously rude or arrogant. (with purpose is fine!) :D

come on in, join the fun, and no, you can't borrow the cat suit -- but you can buy some logo undies for your wife.

oh, yeah - B-more has an awesome aquarium!

NO ONE.I mean NO ONE can borrow the cat suit. :D

Welcome to the forum!

Hey I recently got my # and I think its like any club. There are membership requirements ,and some benefits to a RP #.And yes I lurk sometimes, I don't comment just to get my post count up.But I think the guys on here are my type of people and I'm quite pleased to have my pack number(703).

I see it as a way to have full and add a sense of companionship. I did something similar over on JK knives. Just a way to add a little fun to an impersonal entity such as the internet. I lurk a lot because I consider myself a noob in many ways and so I'm learning as I go. Plus, I'm a gear whore and so I hang where the gear is flippin cool. The people here are less snobbish than WSS about others choices.
Oh, and ESEE knives rock!

I just saw it as a way to get in on a sweet orange handled RC-3 :D :D :D

It's probably been mentioned already, the pack isn't about excluding people, It's about including people, and sharing our experiences. It's not about which knives you own, hell, ownership isn't even required. I'm pretty sure there are several members who don't own esee knives...and they're just as welcome.

thanks for all of your well thought out answers. this is obviously a fraternity that i will want to belong to one day. i will be proud to leave behind the"lurker" status and join the 1095 group. again thank you all. and tony close this thread whenever you seem fit.

Sending out my welcome to you before/if the thread closes!

A lot of people here have a lot to offer. To me, the knowledge/ideas are more valuable then the knives that are given away.

x2 on RockyWolf's comments:thumbup:

Welcome and enjoy the conversation and share your knowledge amongs young and old:thumbup:, about the outdoors that we love and the great equipment we can buy (ESEE):thumbup:. That most of us take for granted. Because we are free we can enjoy this GREAT COUNTRY and this FREEDOM of SPEECH. I'll get down from the soap box:D. 25 ESEE post= RP # if desired. Enjoy the ride:)

I thought it was on the BF forums haha. I didn't notice this subforum until I looked through manufactures.

To me the whole thing about a RP # was another association with a great product, I only have one ESSE Knife, an Izula that has been my constant pocket companion since the Postal Carrier delivered it months ago.

Add to that the great people here, ( and the occasional A**hole) the knowledge base is phenomenal, so much combined expierence you should be able to deal with vitually any situation you encounter in the real world.

Some once told me, "I came for the beer but I stayed for the company.".

Welcome and enjoy. The Rat Pack as I see it is not and will never be an elitist group. It's just a bunch of like minded people having fun with mankind's number one tool:)

Well since I'm waiting for my RP #, I can tell you what it means, at least to me.
It shows that I'm serious here, that I want to enjoy the products and already am enjoying the community here. It's not a let's get some free stuff deal, but rather also a note to others that I'm here to learn and to hopefully give some new insight to different things. As you can see from day one everyone is really cool and happy to have one more person.

Search took 0.59 seconds. Search: Posts Made By: gundude73 ; Forum: ESEE KNIVES (Formerly RAT Cutlery Company) and child forums

you can see i have a lot of posts here, and to clarify it is much more than 500, the search just stops there"

How do I search to see my posts specific to the ESEE forrum? All I seem to get are all inclusive results for BF. Thanks in advance.

Welcome.:)

As you can see here, the Rat Pack welcomes everyone.

There are members here who have 3000+ posts who have never started a thread on their own or posted pics and there are new members here with hardly any posts who start threads and discussions and posts lots of pics.

Just a bunch a people who like to hang out together on the internet and share their love of the ESEE lifestyle.:)
