rat pack?

the price you can get in contest are too good to be true, i would push the 25 posts to at least 100+

for my part, i ask genuine question .. survival and knives are my passion so the posts count goes up by itself just by me learning from other members

you guys are the best. i cant convey enough how pleased i am with this companies knives. i have 2 boxes of knives and the izula has been a permanant part of my edc ever since i recv'd. it. the knives in my rotation are now my izulas[yes plural],my endura with white scales that i dyed ravens purple and a 110.but im sure you guys know which goes out with me the most. thank you for all of your kind comments and im sure that after this weekend my status as "lurker" will soon be erased.

Welcome to the forum. I am relatively new here too, and enjoying this subforum very much. A lot of info and a lot of good hearted people willing to teach and learn.

The RP was just a way to get people to participate more in the forums, it is by no means an elitist group.
Its not? Damn... :p

LOL It is so an elite group!...but anyone can join:thumbup:

It's an exclusive group -- anyone with less than 25 posts in this forum are excluded.

It's not elite, because anyone with 25 posts can join.

I mean, c'mon, look around, nobody here would be allowed in an "elite" group.

I don't own a pack number yet, but I have to say I loved the replies in this thread, I speak for my years-long experiences in various forums. Nice to see that, it sure makes one want to stay around and contribute more! Ciao! :)

having the RP badge is kinda fun.... i keep mine in my wallet and always get the same question: "what the hell is that!?" lol its a fun conversation starter... :)

Talk about an understatement....

And than you pull out the HEST and RC-6 and the sheeple run off scared :)

not being arrogant, but what is the big deal with the rat pack? i already own 5 esee knives and my wife was given a pink izula for our anniversery which she edc's in her purse. i already support the best knife making company around today[imho]. why not just let anyone apply for a # ? why so exclusive? i just dont get it. and please dont just give the answer "that if you dont understand then you dont belong." thats just a b.s.answer. Is this my first post on my way to a badge# ? i dont think so. just asking why. and are there any benifits besides making friends on this page, which ive already done.

My only question is this. How did your wife react to the pink Izzy on your anniversary? My wife and I married 6 years this June and I am thinking of ordering her one. However, I don't want her to stab me with it lol. Was she okay with it? My wife is cool, loves martial arts and guy stuff, but also very girly at the same time. So I don't want to make a mistake. Mostly likely I'll have to get 2 gifts !

absoultly loved it. i cord wrapped the handle with black paracord. and once she saw that the handle scales i had on hand were a no-no. she pulls it out at work all the time. most of the guys say that their wives would kill them for such a present. but most of the women want one. she opens the mail with it and she is a receptionist at a sports clinic. they do alot of work for the balto. ravens.

LoL I am sure i have 25 posts in this forum i am not too sure about quality posts though :).

Thanks for the info! I went ahead and ordered the pink one for her today! Got myself the tan :) Hopefully she doesn't stab me with it. I am going to have to get a girly gift for her as well!

a girly gift? what on earth says "i love you" more than a fine self protection tool in tactical pink? :D

And while all of this is going on, we're waiting for Mr. S to catch some time and update the list... Well at least I am waiting

especially if you give it to her over a prime rib dinner - since restaurant steak knives generally suck.

speaking of dinner! does anyone know any good BBQ places in downtown Atlanta? We are going there for business before our anniversary and I would love to know of a good place. Off topic I know :o

I didn't want to start a new thread. However, I had ordered 2 izula's for our 6th wedding anniversary, tan and pink for my wife. I was concerned if she would like it or not. Gave it to her while we were in Atlanta. She loved it!! I was amazed, she wants to get some kydex and attempt to make a sheath! So happy with it. An awesome little knife.
