I found a site with g-10 liners that open up the color spectrum a bit. I think putting the ghost g-10 liners would be sick out in the light. Also have toxic green and orange but the second I saw it I knew it was yours...... They got some hot PINK that would fit ya just right :thumbup: because of course REAL MEN wear pink right?

That's a great trio of rats, i'd go with flurescent yellow or orange liners, leanin toward the yellow.
Pink would never match my blue eyes, sorry sis. And Ill go with your final comment for the win.....It is so ugly its priceless

Thank you. One small snag, The 2 larger blades are differentially treated and the Rat Sar is not. I wonder if there is a differentially treated blade in the Rat Sar size range. Or I can go for the 4 piece set...2 diff treated being the Daddy and Weiler and 2 thorough treated ones being the Rat Sar and a Rat Warden.
My vote on liner color is in the following order of preference: yellow, toxic green, orange, purple (the first three will pop! and ad some subtle style, while the purple will be more of a sneaky pop factor). Red liners look great but I feel like I see them pretty regularly, so why not go for something unique?
I was just on Martins sheath site and I was trying to picture my blades satined and what woulld go best with a black and dark brown sheath combo. Maybe a deep rust color...or purple...green
I imagine going with black leather sheaths and perhaps stitching to match the liner color could end up looking pretty cool

Oooh, I that's a good point! I'm still not enough of a Rat to know the whole line as well as I know the Busse line-up (give me a few more weeks for that!) but I'm sure someone knowledgeable will chime in. From a technical standpoint, I can't imagine why they'd go for the differential heat treatment in something that size...except for maybe ultimate cool factor! The only thing that comes close to the size that I know is differentially treated is the Swamp Rat Desert Jack, but then you'd have to find some black canvas scales to match the set...which I suppose only ads to the fun of creating that perfect set!
Oh God I can't handle another blade search. Plus Im broke lol. I can however send out some feelers for when I do have the funds circa next freaking year prolly...
I think all three of those, as well as the right shade of yellow would work with a black and dark brown sheath combo. Maybe you can get pics of what the dyed threads look like from Martin himself before coming to a final decision - or let public opinion in the form of a poll help you decide! Martin might have some good insight regarding this question since he's the one actually working with the materials as well...
Good point about touching base with Martin. As for the internet poll, I might try that as well. However I first need to decide If I should get a Desert Jack so all 3 will be diff heat treated or keep things as is. Bleh.
