Rat SAR

I may be wrong but im pretty sure they didnt do a DHT on a knife that small it just wouldnt make sense due to a knife the size of the SAR wouldnt need to flex like the larger blades may need to.

Yeah but there is talk that the desert Jack , a I think 5 inch blade was diff treated...... throwing a lil monkey wrench into my gameplan.
 
Arg, now that I see the desert Jack the handles even match better...it has the extended metal past the handle just like the Daddy and Ratweiler. I woinder if I could get a desert jack and if the handles for my Rat sar would fit it....
 
Nice set! I would consider dark red liners. Subdued but a little flair. Pair with a Swamp Warden. And check the Swamp Rat section for the hook up on some scales about to be offered by a member.

Actually I have matching scales on all three, but I am not contemplating trading my Rat Sar for a Desert Jack or maybe trading somthing else for it and seeing if my scales from the sar will fit the Jack. Then I would have 3 matching knives..with heat treat and the same extended butts...
