You can try to contact the Swamp and see if they can grind it off for you, they do just about any mods you want to the knives if you just ask.
 
I like it on the gunny its on the blade but on the rmd its to far back on handle for me. i prob just sell it.

Gotcha! I just held 'em both and I understand where you're coming from, though I still like it. I've seen picks where the custom shop took the top "guard" off a Rodent 6. It looked lower than the RMD hump. Looked too low for my taste, but as PK said, they'll give you what you ask for. Sounds like you'd just as soon part with it than invest more $ in it. Your call, as your already know.

As much as I adore my AD, I have to say, the RMD is the only 'Kin knife I have multiples of. :D
