rattlehawk?

I am hoping for the Rattlehawk but the Scrapyard forum is down so I don't know if my proxy was able to score. I already have a CrashRat so the Rattlehawk is more appealing to me, plus it would make a bad a$$ thrower. That said I do like the original WarHawk design better but this will certainly do, very nice and with the original being 3/8 stock, one would tire alot earlier throwing it

Awesome pics Eric! I love the grinds on these! It looks hungry for something more than wood and beer cans though ;)

@ dericdesmond

if you don't mind me asking, why are you happy the top scales were removed? i know you said you don't plan on doing any delicate work with a hawk, and i mean no disrespect ...but is there a reason you are happier not having option of using the top scales if you wanted to?

Whenever I get my hawks, the Cavvie will just be an appetizer! We will have to take a picture of the wreckers face when we drop it off in pieces!

Daft, less in this cAse is better for me. As you know, im gonna swing it, thats it. If the scales where on it, id imagine they would interfere if you ever chop through something, maybe be more prone to binding up, bouncing depending on the angle of contact, purely speculation as I have no experience with the other one but as i type im holding my rattle and im jus not liking the idea of it unless I were to queen it. Looks cool but cant imagine it adds any benefit for what this design is primarily used for. Reminds me off a backseat in a sports car.

nephew, great pics!! I am happy with my sniper hawk but kinda wished I scored both!

I'm also jealous of the bacon and the yeungling in the pic!

Jeff

Ok how far up is that bad boy sharpened? Could I get a shot of the top and one from under the beard. I am liking the new design more and more. Now I am gonna have to choose.

Yes I know "Buy both"

thank you much for your responce, i know nothing about hawks. i've never held one let alone used one, so i don't know what the benefits would be either way. less is more makes alot of sense, i didn't think about it that way. would you recommend this to a noob as a good first hawk, or should i get the sniper?

How is the handle when swinging into something as solid as wood; any noticeable hot-spots? And, what color is that handle, orange and green?!?!?!?!?!?

I really want one of these! Can they be ordered? There is no way I can go to the shows as they are all back east.

Great pics brother. I am glad you like it. Now find a car to beat on before that thing turns on you for lack of abuse. :p
