Do not buy Ray-Ban products they do not stand behind them. I have a set of prescription frames from them and the temple piece broke.
They wanted over $50 for a plastic temple piece.I would have thought they would replace it for free or a nominal shipping charge but I guess not.
I have always thought Ray-Ban stood behind their products and that's the reason you buy their expensive shades guess not.:thumbdn::mad:

That's too bad to hear.

I've worn Ray-Bans for the past 20+ years and never one problem nor one complaint about their products.

You might check with the eyeglass place that made the frames for you. I have a pair of wayfarers that lenscrafters fitted with prescription lenses for me, and after a few years one of the hinges broke. They did not have the spring loaded hinge my pair used (I bought them elsewhere and lenscrafters just replaced the lenses for me, I didn't use their frames) but they referred me to a local store that repaired glasses & they fixed them for me for around 10 bucks.

How old were the frames? By the way, the frames aren't prescription, but the lenses may be. Most opticians will warranty frames for a year... if they're older than that you're S.O.L.
