For sale is an early Sub-Hilt Fighter made by Ray Cover Sr. Ray is well known for his flawless design and execution of slip-joint folding knives. His fit and finish are perfect.

Ray Jr. started scrimshanding at the age of 14, eventually becoming a designated Master Engraver and teacher (School of Fine Art Engraving). He focused on quality vs. quantity. Not too many of these come up.

Overall Length: 12-3/8"
Blade Length: 6-7/8"

Satin finished 154cm blade with full-tapered tang, nickel silver guard and false top edge.
Ivory micarta handle with black liners.
Scrimshaw of Native American Indian maiden on one side and Plains Indian chief bust on reverse, both sides signed and dated '86/‘87 with “R” over “C.”
No sheath. No signs of use, light storage wear on the guard. Excellent condition.

$1,150 shipped in the US. PPFF, Zelle, Cash, Check, USPS MO
