Razor edge book, guides and hones passaround

New passaround!

Razor edge system including: The Razor edge book. The Large and small guides. The 6" coarse and fine hones.

Lets try it with 8 people and a 7 day time limit.

I am looking to buy a sharpening system and would love the chance to try one out. I have never been in a passaround before, So if I do not qualify I understand. Thanks

I forgot about the edge tester.
I will include the edge tester in the passaround also.

Feel free to try the guides using other hones that you may have.
I use the guides with my DMT hones all the time.

The razor edge book started me off on the right foot when trying to learn how to sharpen by hand by teaching me the basics of sharpening.

My dad uses a wheel system to sharpen and can get a knife razor sharp in seconds, but I really wanted to learn how to do it by hand.

Once you have a knife profiled the way you want it does not take long at all to touch (resharpen) it up by hand.

The razor edge system my not be the best and for sure it's not the only sharpening sytem out there that works, but I learned alot by reading the book and using there system.

In doing this passaround I hope others will learn how easy they to can sharpen there own knives.

Lots of room :)

I will use my DMT hones and touch my blades up by hand.

I still have the razor edge pocket steel too. I have found that by using the steel you can go a lot longer between sharpenings.


Looks like we got four more openings :)

Anyone else interested?
 
The Razor Edge book taught me how to sharpen. I'd like to try the kit if there's room and thanks for sharing your stuff with the other kids.

Wow! You make a great playmate who is willing to share your really neat toys!

Just received the video and will be passing it on in a couple of days.

Would love to see the book and hardware if there is room at the bottom of your list.

Just to let everyone know I did not forget about the passaround.

I will try and get it sent out tuesday. I was really busy with work and all this last week and did not get it packaged up and mailed out like I was going to do.
