No problem, Z. I didn't take it wrong. You were just trying to find out what happened and were making suggestions to Pahl. I thought I should mention what had happened and that we had been in touch. Pahl's attempt to write Clint happened after our first email correspondence regarding the status of the tape. Since then, Pahl and I have written back and forth a few times. As you mentioned, he is a great guy and I have enjoyed hearing some of his thoughts on sharpening.

My hope is that Clint has just been pulled away from access to the mail for a while. As you might notice from his profile, he is in a line of work that can cause a person to be called away for periods of time. This morning Pahl said he was going to write him via regular mail. I am frustrated, but am still hoping it will work itself out. Thanks for helping out.

Carl M: did you know whether the tape arrived or not?
cause if it didn't arrive, I think it might be an idea to declare it lost in mail so pahl could replace it.
Maybe Spark could help because Clint is premium.
I'm pretty sure it's probably some kind of circumstances tha cause the lack of replies and no tape back to pahl.
 
Calyth: At this point we don't know anything about the status of the tape. We were trying to take the direct route by contacting Clint. Since the email and BladeForums are not working, Pahl said he was going to write Clint a letter. If that doesn't produce results, I offered to send Pahl money for the tape. He hasn't gotten back to me on that yet. Like you, I am hoping there are extenuating circumstances and that it can be taken care of quickly.
I think we are taking a more direct approach first before contacting the Post Office. Thank you for the advice.

Shoot, I shoulda checked in earlier, I had Clint's phone from a previous passaround. Sorry I missed the events, glad it worked out though.
