Does anyone have any pictures of the RC-3 in the "concealed carry" configuration (ie belt clip and tucked into the waistband)?

Anyone have comments on this configuration?

It works? I carry my 3 like this every day. belt, pocket, in pocket

IWB with a belt loop like this from knifekits or something similar is also a good option.

I'll have to try one of the belt loops. I had a custom kydex sheath made, and I put a loop of paracord through the bottom. I loop the end around my belt and tuck my RC-3MIL in my waistband, sort of horizontal. Just grab the handle and pull, and the sheath pops right off. Very quick and discreet. Plus it frees up a pocket, and I forget it's there whether standing or sitting.:D

I've carried mine IWB with the supplied bootclip for at least a year. No probs. It's my preferred way to carry.

can you have an rc3 (or any blade of this size) concealed?

As far as I know, No fixed blade is legal to carry concealed in Cali as long as it is "readily available as a stabbing weapon" so basically anywhere on ones person. You could throw it in the bottom of a pack. maybe:(

You can in Texas. In CA can you even own a knife? I thought you had to pay a special tax to have a dull spork made of environmentally friendly bamboo approved by Al Gore.

Does anyone know where I can get a leather pocket sheath for my RC-3 or, a kydex (not huge, both for pocket carry) I don't care for the plastic one guys - sorry. KSF used to have a leather one with the purchase of an RC-3, then a left handed sheath but nothing now??

KSF sells the Hunter's Pocket Sheath that will fit either a -3 or -4.

Fits my front right jeans pocket alright.

Why is KSF saying "the new RAT/ESEE Knives RC-3pCP Plain Edge, Black Blade, Sharpened Clip Point?"

The have this on the home page and again in the sections - did you guys change the blade configurations or something, or is this marketing talk (using various keywords for search engines)?

Also, the Hunter's Pocket Sheath is way more sheath than I need. It shows a guy trying to pull the thing out of his jacket pocket...lol

You must have big pockets!

His RC-3 black leather sheath is overbuild for my needs.

You think there'd be a big aftermarket of sheaths for the ESEE line.

not the ESEE 3, i think canoga park is LA county, if so it is a 3" limit, then like others have said it has to be visable, i carry my izula strong side on a belt sheath, it is low key but not concealed ;)

ESEE recently released clip point versions of the 3,4,and 6. I'm trying to decide which I want. Torn between the 3 and 4.

From ESEE's site:

You must mean what appears to be a groove, ground out of the top of the spine, at the front portion of the blade. I'm not that "hip" on knife parlance.

Whatever floats your boat. I'm not getting doubles, I've got an unconditional lifetime guarantee on my RC-3 & 4!

I notice they don't have that goofy (to me) skull & crossbones stamped on them. Nice! :D

I saw the machete is "pre-orders being accepted" but for the life of me can't figure out how to accomplish this.

Anyone, please?

I wish they put the bones on everything, and TKC is taking preorders. I know All the usual suspects have preordered stock and will be selling as soon as they arrive.

I'm missing something. I typed "esee junglas machete" and I found it at TKC but man it doesn't look anything like the picture here http://www.eseeknives.com/junglas_machete.htm which I would buy in a minute.

The pic they have up looks like any old machete instead of having the Busse / Fehrman type hard use chopper "look."
