I'm curious about the RC-5, but going to sit out on this one. Not sure where I'll be and if I'll be able to do the passaround keeping within time constraints.
At the end of the passaround, I'll do a random number generator or pick a name out of a hat or whatever and one of the passaroundees will be walking off with a beautifully broken in RC-5.
thanks for doing this shotgunner but i could not wait and just ordered one today... i also ordered a Falkniven A1 and will do a comparison review.. so please take me of the list so someone else can have this genorous oppurtunity!
I would sign up, but I really want one of my own. BTW, Derrick, my order has been sent
I say the pass around should go to shotgunner11 for being the point man in putting this gig together. Hopefully KSF be rewarded by reaping the benefits from those who take the "bait"..... That's right Derrick, I know what you're up to
Thanks again both of you guys, this is a cool experiment all in the name of science!!

2 E-mails were sent. Sorry, but the first one I hit the sent key by accident before I finished typing. I have a cast on my hand that is killing my typing skills.

Since Shotgunner said he didn't mind me posting a review here, I will. Well it will be a quick one as I am not the best reviewer out there.
I recieved my RC-5 on Monday, so this is just an initial review as I will half to use it alot more to truley test its capabilities.
So how about some pics.
With some Family members for size reference
The handle is well done. It reminds me a lil of the Rat-5 I had, allthough thankfully it is not as handle heavy. For a heavy rather large knife the RC-5 is not unwieldy and it feels pretty comfortable in my medium size hands.
The green coating is very well done. The grind is nice and even. It has a rather thick saber grind which I am not usually a fan of, but it cuts pretty well despite that. I understand the thick saber grind will take lots of abuse, but I will still probably thin it out a lil.
I like the sheath, it is very well made. It also can hold my Izula as a lil combo package!
