Holy hell dude - that's a lot of gear on that thing. Where ya goin'?

swap out those mag lites for a Surefire E2L. I hope to have a rig like that someday. but alas.. socially, college rocks..... financially..... it sucks!

Nothing wrong with the mag lites, especially if he has the LED conversions. You don't need a super-super tactical light in the woods (although no reason not to if you already have one).

LED and AA or AAA beats the old Surefires for convenience and economy away from home.

I guess not everyone stocks up on surefire batteries and carries 6 spares in a spares carrier in their pack like I do. Plus, the E2L cranks out 60 lumens for 11 hours. That's a long time for such a bright light like these. (I took the KL4 head off of my L4, and put on the KL1 head of my E1L, essentially making an E2L, and It last's a real long time)

 Exactly, the burn time is more important to me that blinding everything,to me carrying a light witha burn time under 1hr. is not smart for back packing around IMO

Another thing about my Flashlights is I love the simplicity of the AA mini mag & I have spare bulbs and AA batteries and it is a standard mini mag,the swiss army is the LED light. To each his own on the light isssue,I just prefer low light and help save some night vision.
