rd7 thoughts

those are awful purdy ! i really like how you dressed that hawk up. mines been moded similar but doesnt look as good, my CS hawk s got tennis rackett tape , black athletic tape, and textured rustoleum paint all black. its so ugly its cute.
 
Ranger knives are great and Justin is easy to talk to. I called for the first time last month to find out about an Rd with a 5in. blade and 2 weeks later there it was..It chops, cuts, prys and does some finer cutting as well.. Cant askfor much more...I did find that the lower pommel does bite on the pinker while chopping but I plan on sending it back to him to have it rounded off..I havent called yet but after talking to him it seems like it would not be a problem.....This knife just wants to keep going and going and going.......

Same for me on the RD9, but a little sanding took off the edges and left it "toothless" in that regard. For some reason, the RD7 had no such problem although the edges of the rear "hook" seem just as precise.
 
just orderd mine [rd 7 all black] about 10 min ago. never had customer service like that except for maybe EKI.

just got my rd 7 and its a good lookin good fealin knife to be honest. havent cut or chopped with it yet just kinda sat and looked it over real good. the finish is one that i havent seen before , its for the lack of a better word , pretty. just wait till i get out to the wood pile with it , well see how it looks after ive batoned it through some seasond wood .ill let everyone know afterwards.
