Did you degrease the bone with oven cleaner or rubbing alcohol? Also was it powder rit die? This is mine in bright light beforeThis was after five 4 minutes dips into the hot liquid dye. I’m using all purpose Scarlet RIT dye. I do not detect much change so far. The corners are still very pink.

It looks pretty good in outdoor overcast light, but as soon as any bright light hits it the hot pink comes out still.
