Real Becker DuraCoat (not "hobo")

I am pressing my monies against the computer screen; why is my BK7 not Duracoated yet??!??!!?

If you paid and got confirmation, go ahead and get started. Its just a time thing, and right now, you could be stacking up orders.

If anyone gives you any grief over it, make sure you still got your confirmations number, and just let them know.

Or send 'em my way.

Great work by the way, I plan on being one of your customers as soon as I can find a job that pays money.

I tried duracoating once....It was NOT easy. Maybe it was too cold when I did it, but that takes some skill....doesn't wipe right off like krylon.

OK. Here's the two models of Mk1. The GI picked the middle knife. I like the look of the leather better, but the modern take has a much more practical grip. Between the two, the leather would be displayed, the synthetic is the one I'd also carry to war.

The bottom knife is a SOG NW Ranger with the same finish as the BK-7. Made in Taiwan (Cough! Spit! Spit!)

perhaps i should send one of the contest machaxs your way after i've had my way with it, but then again, i was thinking a ghetto treatment :)

Very nice. I like the way the 14 sheath looks as well as that design on the 10. Might contact you soon for some work. Glad you got your membership upgraded
 
I might have 2 or 3 sets of grivory and zytel that are in need of some make-up, but I don't think I'm gonna send you the blades until I'm done modding the physical aspects, such as jimping, convexing, bottle openers and ferro strikers.
 
Hey man, to do digital give fishnets.or screen door material a try.

Do your base color, then pull the fishnets over the knive/area, or just lay the screen mesh over it. Hit it with a few random passes, some lighter some heavier, then go with another color and do it again in different/same spots. Comes out super nice, and WAYYY easier than those crappy little squares

BK knives are like the wild party animals of the knife world... they get coated, stripped, hammered, dunked on acid...
