Thanks guys, I really appreciate the check here. I had a sick feeling I'd been duped...back to feeling good now. As I said, I've been carrying it for years, and like it a lot. It really needs an edge put on it now though. I tried to sharpen it once, but the tanto end, in addition to my having a lot of trouble getting it clamped properly due to the blade back, in my sharpener has kept me from getting it done. I started to, but when I realized I was going to change the blade angle dramatically, I quit until I could figure out how to do it properly. That's not happened yet. I've got the Lansky set, but as I said, I can't get it jigged up properly to put the right angle on the blade, and forget about sharpening the tanto end.

Just wanted to make an offer, I've got an edge pro setup and stones up to 3K. If you ever wanted a hair popping edge put on that Strider I don't mind sharpenin tantos at all. Glad you've actually been using it!
