Really loud knives!

Zt 550 is pretty loud. I have to purposely open it very carefully if I am anywhere I don't want to call attention to it. It opens so smoothly after the perfect detent that it's almost impossible to keep silent.

My Kershaw PackRat has a nice opening sound.

Many years back I had this auto opening stiletto that was made in Germany that made a great sound when it opened.

Love the sound of the old standard Buck 110 as well.

Cold Steel Ti-Lite is loud when you wave it opened, or even if you use the thumb stud to open it.

The big Pohl Force folders are loud openers. My Alpha Three opens with a bang...

The Kershaw RAM emits a wonderful symphony of colliding metal along it's whole travel when set into motion. A brilliantly designed knife.

The loudest opening knife I've owned was probably the Kershaw Blur... *THWACK!!!*

But it's certainly not a feature I look for in a knife. I guess I prefer a sure but subtle *click* when a knife deploys.

The big assisted Kershaws/ZT's are very loud. My g10 Tyrade gets everybody's attention. The Recon 1 with Triad lock sounds like an electrical "pop" when it opens up.

I would have to say that my CS Recon 1 and Military have the loudest and most confidence inspiring 'clack'.
