Really wanting a Strider SNG....Help!

You obviously can't read or have a reading comprehension problem. I have stated only fact. Documented fact at that.
Read prior posts and links before you make a baseless accusation.

I'm done with that line of conversation.

As for the S35VN I have no clue. I know there 110V is pretty awesome according to several that have tested it. They also do not charge a premium for the super steels. OYou can do whatever you want with the knife short of pimping it or reassembling it incorrectly and they will fix it if it breaks. No questions asked. You are paying for the warranty also.

As a comparison, Snap-On tools are lifetime warrantied like that. You pay a real premium for stuff like snap ring pliers because they break often. I have some that have been replaced several times.

Chris Reeve's warranty does not cover COMPULSIVE WRIST FLICKING. Any knife will eventually be damaged if you forcefully open it thousands of times a day. Chris will still fix your knife if you damage it from flicking but he will charge you. It's a cutting tool not a worry bead. By the way, Mick has hinted in posts on the USN that he and Chris are friends. All this Strider Vs Reeve bullshit is redundant. And yes its true, I cannot read.

Op: sorry for getting off topic, enjoy your strider and post pics when you yet it.

if you bad mouth them in the slightest on this forum they wont fix a problem if you are willing to pay in full. Happened to me

Yep. I read all about that one and that was the reason I finally got rid of my umnumzaan. It was a great knife but I'm not going to own something made by anyone that will treat their customers like that.

Also, a lot of CR knives will never see use and most people will never have to deal with customer service for anything other than ordering.

This thread has me rolling.

This thread has gotten to much attention. I'm not gonna post in here anymore.

OP, the Strider is a great knife. I'm not gonna lie, when I had them both I carried the umnumzaan more. I have my reasons for carrying the Strider and selling the umnumzaan. You can't go wrong either way:D
