Reasons to prefer Emerson Knives

I just read in this thread that the Emerson "linerlock wears to fast". Is this true?

I am thinking about geting a Emerson ETAK and i wonder if any one here have had an Emerson whos linerlock has weared out?

Thank you for answers.

I would say no. I've been using knives since I was a kid and never seen any locks wear out. I've only seen one or two blades that had just gotten small from many years of power sharpening, but no worn locks.
Best of luck.

This is why I like Emerson. Among other tactical knives, he makes a small, beautifully-designed, and hair=splitting sharp knife. Mini-CQC-7. Smoothest opening knife I have ever owned and I own many small high end knives. I love this knife:

That's a sexy knife right there...
