Reasons Why I Shouldn’t Get A Svord Micro Peasant With Titanium Scales UPDATED - PICS ADDED

Not understanding putting expensive scales on such a crudely made knife?

Because in America we have a thing called freedom 🇺🇸

Granted you / we can do anything you want and more power to you, but if you are looking for a reason not to do something that might be a good one. It's like putting ivory grips on a Saturday night special, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

It’s titanium. Not like the OP is having it encrusted in diamonds

Nope, as a said he can do whatever he wants it's his money. I was merely taking him at his word and giving him a reason not to do it. In this case it seems like the scales might be worth as much as the knife. I don't put fancy tires on mundane cars or put fancy optics on airsoft guns either. Maybe it's just me.

I have a few large and small Svords(in both plastic and wood handle), but the Titanium keychain one is definitely my least favorite one.

Unlike it's larger siblings, the blade don't really 'wedge' into the handle(like a real friction folder), and I have to either tighten the pivot screw really tight(so it won't accidentally open) or carry it with a sheath. Also, the ultra thin handle is totally not user friendly, a pretty far cry from the original design.

Personally, I would much rather to stick with a small Svord or a small SAK, YMMV.

Thanks for the input.

Thankfully I can return it if I’m not satisfied.
