:) Isis is great stuff. They have a new album due in a month and a DVD that just came out. I'm going to try and get my hands on the DVD asap.

:) Isis is great stuff.
 Yeah, I just saw them live with Tool last week. Incredible show. Isis were amazing. I've been jamming out to Blood Mountain non stop since I bought it. Any metal fan needs to pick that album up. One of the best of the year.

Anyway:

Tool - Opiate

red - end of silence
mainstay - well meaning fiction
mariovasquez - self titled
skillet - comatose

Come on, slackers, buy some CDs.

My most recent:

Devin Townsend - Terria
Opeth - Deliverance
A Perfect Circle - Mer De Noms
Katatonia - Brave Murder Day
Down - Nola
Lykathea Aflame - Elvenefris

Kevin Federline. It's freaking awesome.

Actually, just bought Mana's 'Amar es Combatir'. Pretty soft actually but not bad.

Roadmaster by Johnny Charles.

Great blues guitar by Charles and awesome Hammond B-3 organ by Bill Holloman, the hottest blues/jazz/rock/metal/disco/R&B/country/gospel/rockabilly/pop saxophonist/flutist/clarinetist/trumpeter/keyboardist/guitarist/bassist/drummer/vibraphonist/vocalist/songwriter/arranger on the circuit today - uh, maybe Bill is the only musician with that kind of cred on the circuit today. Johnnie Charles may not be Stevie Ray but his style is reminiscent on a couple of the cuts. Try it - you won't be disappointed if you like blues.

The Who - Endless Wire

Glenn

A couple I got over the last year that are of decent listening:

HIM Dark light. Good decent rock and roll, nicely mastered recording. Music has depth and substance to it.

Mike Oldfield- Las Tunas. This is one of Mike's better compilations. The album is fairly consistent, and listenable.

I recently got...

Syd Barrett - The Madcap Laughs (very good)

The Panic Channel - I forget the title, it's their only album. It was pretty disappointing I bought it because I love Stephen Perkin's drumming, but the music is mostly pretty predictable and nothing really exciting going on.

And a guy I jammed with recently gave me a mix CD with the band's Hella and Lightning Bolt, definitely gonna pick up some of their albums next.

LEXX - The series soundtrack, mellow music.

Krokus - Heart Attack - at their anthemic best.

RedNex - Sex and Violins - their only album worth buying IMO and a blast from the past

Just recently picked up:

Breaking Benjamin - Phobia
Evanescence - The Open Door

Evanescence is good but Breaking Benjamin put out yet another phenomenal CD, I love these guys. I saw them in Allentown for my birthday 2 years ago and I have tickets to go see them again for my birthday in March in State College.
