  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Recessed wall display for Arno Bernard collection

That is quite a collection of a single knife maker! The photo is small on my computer, so I can't see close details.

Awesome display! I am also an Arno Bernard fan. Excellent collection.

Great to meet another Arno fan. I not only collect his knives, I use them extensively in my hunting lodge/guide business. If you have ever used one of his Nyala's or Zebra's to skin a deer, you know Arno builds knives to use. Before I started using Arno's knives to skin client's game, I would dread the chore, now I look forward to the task using his knives and the inevitable questions from the client regarding what knife I am using.

Yes sir. They are 1/4" wooden dowels. I drilled the 1/2 strips with a 1/4" bit at an 8 degree upward angle and then sharpened each end of the dowel with a pencil sharpener and then drove the dowel in the holes. The dowels are 1 3/4 inch long. Works well.
