Good. Now that we know who he is, where do we go from there? He asked a legit question, and asked very nicely. He got several good answers. Why pollute an otherwise valuable thread with his history? If you think he should be banned, contact Spark or a moderator, but don't reignite flame wars on the forum itself, please. That's trolling, too.

Well, letting people know is actually a good thing, I think. One of his earlier posts, titled "Attacked by Spyderco Civilian" in which he claimed to have had his right bicep nearly cut totally in half by some thug, but still manage to pull his H&K USP and waste the guy, with the same arm, THEN went into surgery and was released like, the next day. Y'know, this post really isn't cool, cause it paints Spyderco a really, really unfriendly image, and could quite possibly damage Sal's reputation. Also the author of a thread titled something like, "In Tears" in which he left a gym bag in a locker room containing a Emerson CQC-6, wallet, keys, Surefire light, and Luminor Panerai watch, all of which, except for wallet and keys, someone took, then, when a sign was posted, the same person returned, out of the goodness of their heart. This one's just a blatant call for attention, and pity. Also, he's quite possibly the author of the thread "Ooh Man" in which the person tells of how he's dropped out of school, and invited a girl over for a walk in the woods, when a moose charged them, goring the girl badly. Well, he felt no other recourse but to pull out his Ka-Bar and stab the moose in the neck, killing it. Then, picked up the girl, and ran for 20 minutes to get her medical aid, then signed on at the hospital to tell us all about it!!
So, there is a reason to post about his history. So no one gets sucked into his lies, and believes him about anything important, such as trading, buying, or selling.

click here for all the daypacks at Campmor

Some neat ones there

A pack with a bunch of different internal compartments - you even showed a pic of what you were looking for, I've got it now!

This is the Stomp II medical pack from , drumroll please, Blackhawk (Bet'cha didn't see that one coming :D)

Click here for more internal pictures.

I've lived out of this bag while carrying my team's med supplies before. There is a tom of room in it, two sepperate removable internal gear containers, a place for a hydration system - the works!
Dimensions: 14" x 21" x 9"
$239.96 here

A smaller aid-bag that may also work would be the

Spec.Ops Med Pack
60mp00.jpg

Dim: 13" x 18" x 8"
Cubes: 1,872"

AND!!! The tan version (read - not so military-ish) is on sale right now for $101.56, not a shabby deal :D the other colors are $135.96

There are other makers out there that make different types of civilian med bags - I could not find any on a quick search engine search, but I bet at your local hospital or firehouse there would be some catalogs laying around.

Have fun!

Thanks for the info, Dan.
I'm thinking about that X1...
Clicked on the link in your sig line, and spent over an hour looking at stuff. Man, I feel tactical, today:D
I want one of everything, but am trying to work out a list that's a little more realistic.

Thanks Dan! The Stomp pack is quite near to my ideal. Is there enough space for several books or a laptop too? Since urban survival isn't my job (of course) I have to have quite some space for these things too.
I always wondered- especially after 9/11 - why Blackhawk, or any other tactical gear producer, didn't take one of those Jansport, Eagle Creek, Wolfskin yuppie designs and make a bag of better quality, more/better organised inner compartments (with lots of straps, little pockets, etc.) but of the same size and without the same ruggedness necessary for spec ops, without loosing the "innocent" look and price it just a bit ahead of all those common daypacks. I am sure they would sell a bunch-especially in the "tactical civilian community".

Thanks again

A long time ago Blackhawk offered their 3 day assault packs in orange, blue and maroon also - they just never sold real well.

I don't think Blackhawk would make any "less rugged" bags.

They are very proud of how durable their products are. I do see a more "normal" look in their newer Hydrastorm packs. I think that is their attempt at reaching a broader market.

Have fun!

The person asking has not been VALIDATED. We all want to bend over backwards to help EVERY member of BF, that's what this forum is all about.

DENNIS came to BF with many tales. Some solicited so much empathy and sympathy that he was even offered a FREE Custom Emerson.
Had he NOT been identified, then what?
The point is simple: DENNIS keeps returning, but has done quite a bit of damage to other formites. The damage done to himself is SELF-INFLICTED

If he returns to become a productive member of BF, he should start with an apology instead of a new IDENTITY...........Ira:mad:

Badgering this guy on an unrelated thread like this reflects poorly on the complainers, not the original poster.
You're trolling. Grow up.

edited to a civil response, my other one was uuugly:o

Owen,

Wow - Not sure what's going on with this post but I hope you were not including me on your bad guy list :)

Have fun out there!
