Recommend a fixed blade for cutting cardboard

I have a Jerry Fisk fixed blade, S35VN, 0.095" spine, about 0.020" behind the edge, that is about as good as I've found.

Big fan of Jerry Fisk, met him at the Knifemaker's Guild Show in 1986, nice guy, easy to talk to. But, I could never afford one of his knives. I have a couple of his designs, tho, a Blackjack Magnum Camp Knife (that eventually morphed into the Becker BK-5, I also have one of those), and my EDC is a White River Sendero Classic.

You could look at the water, boating style knives.

Like a spyderco enuff. Which apparently they do in non H1 as well.

Or something like the click and cut, which I still haven't tried. I am waiting for the folding version.

Why a fixed blade?
Just about every Spyderco folder is a "slicey-dicey cuttin' fool"! 👍
If you're cutting up boxes: the inherent strength of the knife's design shouldn't be an issue.

I’ve been cutting a lot of cardboard lately. Mostly using some slicy folders. I’d imagine a ‘bird and trout’ knife would work very well for the task. Find a maker you like and see if they make one, or reach out to one of the custom makers on here and see if they can make one to your specs

If you can find one, a Fiddleback Forge 3 Finger Joe is a great knife for opening boxes and cutting up cardboard.

The Condo Urban Puukko would probably be damned fine for this kind of work, with a blade width of 0.11", since it doesn't have a traditional scandi grind that Puukkos are supposed to have that would also likely wear out faster in this role if they did. The Joker Trampero or Condor Terrasaur would also be good choices. If you're on a budget you could also go with a Morakniv Basic 511 or Companion Heavy Duty.

I'd personally be leaning towards a shorter wharncliffe or sheepsfoot folding blade for this kind of work, like a Spyderco Yojimbo or Ronin, Kizer Mini-Sheepdog, or a Cold Steel Tuff Lite.

Although it's neither stainless nor does it have particularly high edge retention, this redsquid2 redsquid2 in A2 has become my favorite cardboard cutter. Very thin BTE and slicey as all getout. Also the price was very attractive.

The knife is made by Phil Wilson. The model is a slight variation on his smoke creek model.
I'm in search of Phil Wilson knife, could you please consider discussion of good deal for it? Please DM (I don't have gold status, so I suppose I cannot start discussion)
