What price range? What intended purpose?

If we know how much you're looking to spend and what you want to do with the knife, we can help make good recommendations.

The Keen would be my first recommendation in that range. It’s only available new through the Massdrop website, where handle style choice will set the price between 139.99-159.99. It is built by WE knives, who do a solid job heat treating S35VN. The blade finish on the Keen is a very fine satin finish, so it’s quick to pick up fingerprints. That’s the only thing I can say about it that’s close to a complaint. That knife should give you a good sense of what S35VN can do with good geometry and heat treatment.

I like my Southern Grind Spider Monkey. S35V, titanium and carbon fiber. But it may be a little small for you; 3.25, I think.

3.25 would be ok, 3.25 to 3.6 seems to be the sweet spot. Dont know why I posted 3.4

Southern Grind Spider Monkey.

The steel is done right. Great stuff, pretty easy to maintain. The clip is great in that it doesn't affect your grip.

The carbon fiber is just plain stunning.

Get one from @whitty over at USA Made Blade.

The PM2 is a nice knife but like you Idisliked the scales so I put micarta scales on it ... but changing out scales on a PM2 isn't the easiest with the flared tube ...

ZT has some depending on your likes ... the 566 is nice and if you prefer non assisted the 566 runs great deassisted ...

I've heard only good about the Keen but I have never personally owned one yet anyway ...

if you go to Knife Center and use their search you can put your blade steel and size in and see what pops up ...

I also recommend the southern grind spider monkey, the CF one may be a little pricey for you but they also offer them in g-10 scales.
