Recommend a nicely sheathed push/karambit/dagger?

The Benchmade was heavily marketed to law enforcement. Security contractors.

It's a tool in the toolbox. If you're weapon is taken, malfunctions, runs out of ammo. Or you didn't have a gun in the first.

Training with one. It's a last ditch tool to save your life. You can throw a punch but with a knife. Not a swing it around but throwing a fist. It's a very brutal knife.

And Benchmade Benchmade ....They use to make a really nice one.

I mean this with the utmost respect, but I love getting to read whenever you post lol. I feel like the way you speak is somewhere between William Shakespeare and Yoda 😄

You don't need training for a push dagger. You make a fist around the knife and you punch.

There's very little that stop a fist driven dagger. I mentioned brutal. Areas to punch is the face. Arms, forearms....armpit.

It's a remarkable knife. Extremely simple in it's one function.

You do as much as kind of you should for any knife. (Unless you delve in to the karambit hand trapping stuff which I think is more show than go anyway)

And part of that is punching has levels. You can be bad at it.

I know OP already bought a Cold Steel, but I just learned that Civivi is releasing a budget version of the We Typhoeus dagger and I'm pretty sure I'm going to snag one when it comes out. The We Knife version was priced kind of high at $300, but this one uses G-10 or aluminum handles and 14C28N steel and is supposed to be $75-$110. It still does the handle shift thing to go from a regular drop point to a push dagger, and the sheath is set up to carry it so it comes out as a dagger first.

I like it but I would never buy it. Due to personal reasons and geopolitical reasons. It looks very tempting but I cannot do it. And it looks like a pretty high quality piece.

I am not sold on punch daggers being any more street than anything else.

But if I was and I wanted to carry one defensively this would be ideal. As then I could cut an apple or something without looking silly.

But then someone attacks me. Bam! Punch dagger.
