Recommend best 2.5 to 3 folder under 150

Thanks for all the replies I'm still looking though perhaps something just a tad smaller than my original criteria. I don't really like the smaller offering by spyderco

Spyderco Techno in CTS XHP is AMAZING. I was shocked how comfortable such a small knife could be. It's comfortable and can take quite a beating. It's very thick and when you choke up, it almost disappears in your hand.
 
Hopefully there's a fairly decent knife shop not too far where you could check out a few of these in person, I recently returned a mini griptilian due to my dislike of the scales. I used to have a dragonfly 2 that I really loved (&need to replace) and is kind of the same size just a thicker blade but you said you don't like smaller spydercos, maybe you'd like the manix 2 I think the blades about 3 3/8" or so
 
Benchmade 707 sounds about perfect for your criteria if you like the AXIS lock, which you should as it's one of the best knife locks available and totally ambidextrous.
 
I am really liking the benchmade 707 man it's awesome. I also came across a Bradley alias 2 it seems really nice as well
