recommend bushcraft knife under 250$ ,just can buy one

Junglas? I don't own any ESEE but I think it would be a great knife,

I love my KA-BARs and trust the Becker designs so I would chose one with no problem.

The way I hear it, if you're never Gunna see another knife again, get a bk2.

I think it would be a comfort having a something with train wrecking capability under your belt and you could probably pick up some form of Iranian machete/long blade and local small knife to cover your other bushcrafting needs.

Am I wrong? Are there no knives n your country? I mean no disrespect, I am just trying to understand your situation and help.

Can knives not be shipped to your country internationally?

dear friend i have more than 50 knives in my collection ,but we can not buy fixed blades here recently .
few years ago we could buy and any time i go out of iran ,i take one with me .
the main problem is that ,the online stores ,does not ship to iran and also customs does not accept knives.
so i only can ask my friend to bring for me.now i have this chance !!!

furood, I am familiar with the BK 7. It will do what you need. The ESEE 6 is about the same size and reliability. You can chop with the BK 7 or ESEE 6. The ESEE Junglas might be too long for bushcraft.

please tell me which one you vote and have experience
esee6
esee junglas
falkniven A1
BK7
KABAR 5600 JOHNSON ADVENTURE
scrapyard711
ontario RTAKII
ontario RAT7

Out of these, my favourite is the Fallkniven A1. I like convex ground knives and have had great experiencies with the brand. They're all good knives, though, and you'd be well served by any of them (the Ka-Bar 5600 is the only one I don't like).

If you don't mind a bit of advice, think about blade length carefully. I know everybody has a personal favourite length that works for them, in my personal experience blades in the 6"-7" neighbourhood fall into the "too big for detail work and too small to be a good chopper" category. In my collection, most knives are 4"-5", and the bigger ones are 8"-10".

I am sorry to hear that brother, I would have gladly volunteered to ship them for you.

Whether this is against some rules or you trust me to, I don't know, but it makes no difference to me. I would have been happy to help in anyway necessary.

What I said about a folding saw though, still stands. It should make it to you correct? For only about $20, you can't go wrong.

I suggest Becker just on knowing the steel and a BK2 at that just knowing that you can't have any other knife for awhile.

.25 inch steel is heavy, I won't lie, but not unmanageable and given your circumstance I know that it will serve you well.

1095-CV is a great hard working steel and KA-BAR does it well.

Best of luck to you.

P.S. a bk2 is not the best chopper but you'd be hard pressed in breaking it, I hope one of those 50 blades is a machete.

dear benyamin ,i had seen many of your post before in this forum .so i will consider your comment. but in one youtube video i saw that the BK handles need to check the screws anytime after use .is it right ??

dear brother ,i am really happy to find such friends here ,it made me glad !!thanks so much !!

little by little i am going for BK7 !!

but anybody can tell me about scrapyard711 VS BK7 ??

My girlfriend just left the US to visit her home in Sulaymaniyah (or Slemani, Iraq). It is very close to the border with Iran, as you may or may not know. :) I could've given her your knife and she could've shipped it to you or something.bUnless you have a problem with Kurds... :p

Anyway, good luck with your search!

I, myself, don't have any problems with nobody!! In my life try to find friends instead of enemies!!
But taking it from Iraq has same problems too .
First I should select which knife to buy .
But thanks for your help, my friend!

Does any body know, why esee6 is much more expensive than bk7, while both are same size and steel .

Because ESEE tends to be more expensive than KA-BAR.

People have said fit, finish, and most of all Warranty but I like my KA-BARs just fine.

I would not hesitate to buy a BK7.

You can put some form of Loc-tite or epoxy on the screws to lock it up. Maybe some clothy/material type tape around the handle.

My knives always take a drastic change in appearance within the 1st 2 hours of ownership.

Because I want to buy, one .it is better so select perfect one!!
What about Ontario rat??

It isn't that the BK handles come off by accident. They are made to be removable, to clean inside, to store small useful items inside, or to replace with custom-made handles of different color or materials.

The BK7 is a decent chopper for its size. The light handle material and cut outs give it a slight forward weight. The 711 at .25 thick will chop better, due to thicker steel and an even more forward weight balance.

I would take a look at these three links before you decide boss. I personally have the wildland small machete and it performs exceptionally. But for $35 over your price range you can get the XL Wildland, the sheaths that Mr. Mario makes are top notch. Overall you will be completely satisfied with your purchase of either of these knives.

Thanks so much, I checked the website .
I will consider this knife and compare it with other options!

May I know, another custom makers too??

miller bros blades

Bradshawblades

Big Chris

KFU

Fletcher Knives

I think anything that these makers could make for you would perform very well. Good luck if you have anymore questions for me you can just drop me a visitor message on my page.

If you are a collector and this is your one and only chance to buy one try to buy the best custom handmade knife there is. With that said, you have to keep it under $250. I would look at Bark River, Fiddle Back Forge, or maybe Blind Horse Knives for a good bushcrafter, and other custom makers on this site. Don't waste your one time to buy a knife on a production knife.
