I think I'd like to try one in 3v. What choices do I have? I know of survive gso, CPK and bark river. Any others I'm missing?

Cold Steel has some too. Custom is always an option. I think Big Chris does stuff in 3v. Honestly though? Get yourself in the mindset to try and go after a CPK. The steel is not the only thing. One of the best feeling knives I have ever had is my Field knife.

I own 2 customs in 3V, would recommend browsing the knifemakers fixed blades for sale subforum here on the forums for good deals on 3V.

CPK makes the best 3V around, but is very hard to acquire. Lots of other options in the knifemakers' section.

I ha a Guardian 3 in 3v and it is amazing!!!
I have literally beat the snot out of it and it just keeps cutting!!
Pretty awesome knife!!

Been on a 3V knife crusade this year but after having Bark Rivers, Kosters, and a Bradford I can say that CPK comes out on top. The steel and the way it's done is just top shelf.

Thanks for the insight.

I just got a Bradford Guardian 3 in 3V a couple weeks ago. It hasn't been put to any hard use yet, but it's been holding up well to my normal daily cutting jobs, yard work, etc. I think I'm really going to like it.

Medford knife and tool in 3v. I feel like it is a CRK that is a are used folder. But tight tolerances.

DCL Knives makes some really nice blades for a reasonable price. He is a BF member and sells in the exchange.

Cray beat me to it. The Ultimate Hunter in 3V is a hundred bucks, and readily available. All the reviews of it I've seen have been highly positive. And again, for a single hundo? That's a good value.

Yup!! If you'd like to give 3v a shot to see if it's good for your cutting needs, this sounds like the way to go.
