Recommend me a new EDC that cannot be opened by inertia

Yeah, I only said difficult to shake out, not impossible. I don't think there's many one hand opening, modern knives that undoubtedly meet this criteria. I can't think of a single one, personally.

Case Russlock is about the only one I can think of.

Peasant Svord might be a good option. Its a friction folder so I’m not sure if it being able to be inertia opened counts. Once you close your hand over the open knife it is not closing until you let go.

The Wonderful Douk-Douk! It's a $40 slipjoint. 2 hands opening.

I was going to get an Impinda for city carry but I'm not sure about it anymore. What a shame.

For use in the city when off work, I play safe and only take the Leatherman Ps4.
I have had it for a couple of years and so far it has been enough.
At work regardless of location, I carry a full carpenters equipment and this includes a Mora and a LM Charge.

Regards
Mikael

I often carry a Svörd Peasant or Mini Peasant (or both) if I need a one hand opening and closing knife at work in NYC. It can only lock of your hand is on the tang and the pivot can be tightened so it is not possible to flip it open yet easy to deploy the blade using your thumb. At about $15 each, I won't cry if it is lost, stolen or confiscated. They are a bit rough in appearance, but so far none of the cubicle slaves at any of my job sites have been intimidated when I use it. Another that I highly recommend is an Aitor Pequeya (if you can find one). The spring in this slip joint is a bear trap and it is small and discreet, though you'll be using both hands to open it.
