Recommend me a new edc!

of those shown the northfield [gec] is certainly the strongest but also probably heavier. no doubt the gec will be best steel.

i live in Denmark, where we can only carry slipjoints,
with maximum blade length of 2 3/4 inches, it has to be two handed!
so that means: No thumbstud, No thumbhole, No NOTHING! (which seriously sucks!)
so i figured that i would probably ending up lugging something traditional around:rolleyes:

I certainly don't agree with any government regulating what tools people can and can't carry. But I also think you'll get by just fine with a traditional. I can carry pretty much anything I want (Spyderco Military or Endura? Schrade LB7? No problemo). But I carry traditionals because A) I like them and B) I find that they do a better job of cutting the stuff I need to cut, period.

thank you so much for the massive load of replies!
answering a few questions:
2,75 inches of cutting edge or blade= Blade length
can you carry a friction folder?= on a danish forum we are investigating if we can carry friction folders, but we havent found out yet

looks like a small texas jack or peanut is going to be a winner!
Thanks
Peder Visti
