Recommend some pocket-sized fixed blades, please.

I just got this great lil "Misery Whip" neck knife from Alan Davis. I really like this lil knife. I have several smaler fixed blades---Izula, Izula II, Ray Laconico small EDC, Benchmade Activator #201? with D2 Steel and this joins the ranks with the best of them. I ran some 550 paracord thru the sheath loop and carry as a neck knife, you hardly notice it there:thumbup:

Beautiful, Paul. Thanks for sharing. I especially like that forged hammered look. What is that? 1095?

harkamus, in Alan's discription he says the steel is from an old "Misery Whip" saw blade (most likely L6). I do know it is a terrific little slicer!!!

Actually, Ive been eyeballing the other little misery whip for two days now, trying not to buy it!

I bought an Izula II. It has a slightly longer handle, and comes with micarta scales. Very handy, whether I wear it around my neck or just stuff it in a pocket.

I carry a Busse gamewarden (with sheath) in my pocket occasionally. Its probably too fat in the handle for prolonged carry but fine for shorter stints.

Here is a BRK&T 'Huntsman', even if it is a bit longer than you wanted at 7", shown with a 2 x AAA River Rock LED flashlight and my older KSF sheath.

Here they are sheathed.

It is a decent size - suitable for quite a bit of different applications. The convex ground A2 blade is .187" thick with an edge 3" long. It carries so sheathed in my cargo pants back pocket. Save money - buy with a black canvas Micarta handle, you'll get the same knife as the most expensive handled variant. Mine was my first ever Bark River knife - and they are once again available, just a bit more in price than I remember.

Looks like plenty of room on the handle for somebbody with big hands - BRK&T 'Huntsman' - I like it! :)
