Hi there. I'd like to purchase a nice stockman for my BIL, and I plan on getting stag scales. I don't have any good knife stores near where I live, so I will have to purchase it online. The only problem is that most sites only show you "representative" pictures of their knives, and not the actual one that would be sent to you. While I totally understand why they do this, it does make it very hard to ensure that I'm buying a knife with really good stag, since I can't see it first. I know that I can ask the retailer to pick out a knife with the nicest stag (for the limited number of retailers who will do that), but even if they do hand select, there is still no assurance of exactly what I'd be getting.

), can you recommend an online retailer who posts pictures of the actual knives and not just "representative" knife pictures AND who has a decent selection of traditional slipjoints? Thanks in advance for your help.
