Recommendation? - Hand Files

I don't think I'll buy anything but F.Dick from now on.

Wondering what are good options for a pocket EDC (every day carry) saw that is capable to cut through hard steel. First I thought about a hack saw blade with a folding handle but I don't think that's good. I am leaning towards a triangular file. The Pferd triangular diamond file, wrapped in tape and with a loop to put on a keychain, appears tiny and possibly up to the job. Am I correct? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...rue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Alternatively, the Pferd machinist diamond handfile, where I could remove the handle, use a grinder to cut it somewhat smaller and drill a hole and attach it to a key chain: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...rue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_4&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Or a Pferd Corinox triangular? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...rue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_3&smid=AS0K3MKEU5H24

Which brings me to a general question: when using a file as a saw, is Corinox or diamond the better way to go?

Thanks so much to all knowledge that you can contribute and enrich the Web for all googling "using a file as a portable metal saw".
