I'm looking for a "serious" folder with a large 3.5-4.0 inch blade. Trying to stay in a street price range of about 90.00 - 150.00. I'm guessing on the price, but it is about what I think I can get for what I am selling.
Looking for probably a liner lock, thumb stud or other very fast opening, plain edge, non coated.
For example: A couple which come to mind are:
BM 710 New or used
ZT (non-coated)?? Used

All recommendations appreciated. Hoping to find something easy to find to buy or trade for without having to look for too many weeks.

Military of course. There are a bunch of different options from PE to Se to CE to DLC coating to titanium, etc. The price range is around $125(uncoated blade w/ g10 handles). To around $230 (titanium, RIL). If you're not a fan of Spyderco, you will quickly become one after a Military purchase.

If you can still find a Kershaw Tyradein G-10 you might give it a look. Very solid, flipper with A/O.

I second the Spyderco Military. It is simple in design and has a great multipurpose blade that is easy to sharpen.

Never used a BM 710 so I cant comment on that particular knife, but the axis lock sure is a fun mechanism.

You want serious, buy an Emerson.
My first was a CQC15 and I still love it...very versatile 3.9 inch blade, superb handle ergonomics and a great EDC.
There have been a couple here on BF for sale recently, reasonable, in your stated price range.
Chose the style and length you prefer and go for it.
You won't regret buying an Emerson.

Is this the bowie type blade?

I got one of these and I really like it
