Thanks. It's a gnarly piece of firewood, from where I split the crotch of a tree. Most of my knife pics are taken right out back at my wood pile, because there are so many different backgrounds to choose from. (As long as I want wood as a backdrop.:))

Wow, Ron. That red is perfect. Looks like candy.

The jigged bone arrived yesterday, and I immediately dyed it to have a similar hue to the sawcut. The valleys of the jigging aren't as dark as the cuts of the saw, but I was able to get the same crimson tone, when before it was more of a firetruck red with lighter edges.
