RED Friday

RED Teardrop again this week.

Today it's a RED CASE Mini Trapper with the Wharncliffe configuration . Much prefer these to the 'normal' Spey types and it's a knife deserving more carry & attention. No issues on this: gap free, play free, magnificent W&T too, CASE can and often does make a really grand knife despite what 'knockers' would have you think. Never really understand why they called it 'Mini' rather than 'Medium' as it's 3.5" or so. Have a legendary Red Friday contributors!

dave308ek dave308ek Beautiful taste your daughter has  Lucky you. Really like both of those and that Red Micarta GEC you've shown, mesmerising:cool:
Thanks so much Will, I feel extremely fortunate that my daughter has such good taste in knives and is generous to her old dad 😉😁
I was also lucky to get the Red Micarta, I had hoped to get the Black one also but I waited too long and they are getting harder to find now. Thanks for the generous praise on these!

Your Case Mini Trapper is beautiful and I agree, the Wharncliffe is a great pairing with the clip blade!!!
Oh, and congrats on your new Red Case 18, a stunning and useful choice. 👍👍👍
I made the mistake of being one of the 'knockers' when I first joined and got a couple of examples that had small gaps and off center blades. I look back on those rash statements with a little embarressment as I later bought some truly fantastic Case knives, learned more about their amazing history, and realized what a great company, with beautiful, functional knives it is.
