Daddy Barlow Prototype from 1970; but never produced!! It was nice to own, but I got an offer I couldn't refuse, a few years ago!! Redbone in 1970 was brilliant!!

"never produced" is not quite accurate. "Was never put in mass production..." perhaps ...
Case produced at least one ... so "exceptionally limited production"?

How many prototypes does Case make of a new (or "out of the vault") pattern before deciding if it will go into mass production?


A beautiful knife. I will never understand Case putting the Barlow and Daddy Barlow "in the vault", forcing potential customers to the arms of their competitors ...
