red trout

Those are really nice.

Thanks Tim, I couldn't be more pleased.

I agree, David and you have 3 prime examples! Beautiful! Kudos to ea42 ea42 and Rich!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The best part of getting these knives was my hour long conversation with Rich on the phone, listening as he was describing each knife as he held it, getting to hear some of his stories. I hope I am so sharp at age 80!

That's a fine bunch of knives. Stellar looking stag.

I apologize to everyone for taking the last available stag handled Red Trout Boy's Knife.

Great pics David, I'm glad you like 'em!! It was definitely an amazing experience working with Rich, he can definitely spin a yarn!

Eric

Thank you Eric for the kind words, and especially for doing such a great job on these knives!

I just saw the posts about Richard's new venture- I love those Boy's Knives so much, rushed to snag a green jigged bone one (even though I have a couple other knives literally in the mail to me)! My first grail purchase was from Rich/Redtrout, a factory overrun of the gold g-10 CSC Boy's knife. He is a hoot, and glad to see these new knives. And thanks to Eric ea42 ea42 and team for your fine craftsmanship! oh, and if the pull is too much for my weak hands, i'll let you all know on the exchange.

For my wallet's sake...I'm really glad I didn't choose to read through this thread until now :) It stuck out like a sore thumb "red trout" but I haven't spent a ton of time here recently. There is literally ONE of these left (grey/red Kirinite) for purchase. So many options were made available I would have went nuts had I the opportunity. Some things were just meant to be.
ea42 ea42 wonderful job on these boy's knives :thumbsup::thumbsup: I hope to catch the next run of CSC or Red Trout or whatever you are a part of and look forward to see what is coming next.

Thanks Darren! That grey/red kirinite is actually some beautiful stuff. It doesn't show in the pictures but the grey portion has some really sparkly iridescence and depth to it, very pearl like.

I will post this here rather than message you as I think this info will be useful to other people. On the page where you see the red Krinite knife, click on where it says Redtrout knives right below it. That will open another page where there are a bunch more knives listed.

Ah thanks I do see some others

:p
If Im being honest...Im disappointed in myself for not knowing about these when they dropped :) I would have loved some of those cover options. As always in this game...patience is a virtue.
If I wasn't recouping the knife budget, I probably would have picked up one of those fancy acrylic models. Nothing screams "Boys Knife" like colorful acrylic.

I haven't picked up my blue kirinite Boy's Knife yet, but if I like it, I will almost certainly order another. This is a great, practically custom, and most critically for me, STAINLESS pocket knife. Bring on the 2 bladers!

I would have loved to snag a stag! :D

John, I agree, acrylic on these is perfect!
