The other blue linen Spear went off forum through the Newsletter and I sent out a Zulu from a Dibs from earlier this year.

Emails have slowed from the request for questions, you guys have come up with some good ones. Keep them coming, remember sending in a question puts you on a list for a Giveaway, the only way I know how to twist your arms for a reply 🤣

Sent another western question. Also, I was looking at the prop knife from the Searchers, reminds me of one from Martin Tactical knives and there is one in the exchange from a maker that looks similar.
 
He used the other guy’s dagger, still want to see his stag handled knife.

Edit to add: The only thing I'm finding so far is "two-edged, razor-sharp, with a point like a needle". That gives a lot of wiggle room lol.

In the book he used his Tinker Made Arkansas Toothpick which was "razor sharp and he'd shaved with it often."
 
Man, every time a post occurs here in the “Email Newsletter (Dibs, Sales, Etc..)” thread, I get an alert, and an email. Every single time, my heart skips a beat, thinking there is an announcement that there will be a Cowbell for sale 😳. Just playing with my emotions now lol 😢

On a serious note, I hear you. When I post in here without a Newsletter coming out I think about that. I'm not a big fan of locked threads but maybe we can figure something out. Can you set it up so you just get notified from a thread, the sub, or user? How does that work, anyone know?

Yes you can set up alerts to where you watch an individual thread, or a whole sub. This “Redmeadow Email Newsletter (Dibs, Sales, Etc..)”which I had this individual thread setup on my watch list, and the Purple ice cream chat one, that I would get notifications and emails on trying to maximize my chance at a Cowbell, since I hoped to score a Cowbell one day.

FWIW, I removed this thread from my watchlist Monday so I don’t get excited whenever there are posts here and I’ll just take my chances since I’m batting zero anyways lol

Oh ok gotcha, the notifications are from the watch list as a whole, not a specific thread?

I'm the one that's batting zero, it's on me, hang in there. We'll get the Cowbells flowing.
 
Yes, you can set them up for a specific thread, including this specific thread only or including others, subs, etc…
